Lourdes is a full boarding college for girls: an ordered residential community for study, spiritual growth, friendship and responsible living.
The Houses
Six houses, one sisterhood
Four principal dormitories formed the original boarding establishment. Shanahan and St. Paul joined as the College expanded after 2005.
Immaculata House
One of the four principal dormitories of the original boarding school. Its name honours Mary Immaculate, in keeping with the College’s Marian identity.

Beyond the classroom, students grow through sport, clubs, music, service and the life of their houses. The College publication, Lourdes Beats, gives students a platform to write and report on school life.

Leadership & Personal Development
Leading with courage, competence and compassion
Lourdes develops leadership through responsibility, service, teamwork, mentoring and participation in the life of the school. Students are encouraged to discover their abilities, support one another and become women able to lead.
A 2025 transition workshop at the College addressed leadership styles, empowerment, personal discovery, relationship-building and transformational leadership.
